The process by which part of the community chooses personal trainer is wrong. As with any service you pay for, you must choose someone with the right credentials and experience to get you there. Because many people are not sure which questions to ask (or are too intimidated to ask questions), they end up not seeing the results and become skeptical about working with a personal trainer. The sole way to get in communication with a good coach with a dedicated client is to train people outside the gym, which allows us to do what I will try in this article. The good news is you can access virtual services.
Personal virtual assistants at the gym: Beware of training companies that chase you at the gym or require you to meet them when you register. Many of these companies have become "fast food" of personal training. The training menu never changes, the service is bad and you are only a number of customers. Ask these questions:
1) Do you always have the same coach (if you want)? If NO, continue. If you have 10 different personal virtual assistant trainers in the next 6 months, how should you make progress?
2) Do you have to sign a contract? If you are unsure if perhaps you will like the trainer or the system, ask if you can buy some trials before doing. Never sign a contract without understanding what you are buying.
3) Talk to the trainer that you work with before ordering a session (see questions below). If you are not authorized to do this, continue.
4) If you feel compelled to get a car sales intern that will motivate you to buy a car, continue. A good coach will never put you under pressure because we understand that ONLY you will see results when you are ready to get involved.
A good personal virtual assistant company is usually led by a very experienced personal trainer who chooses trainers who work for him. This person will be happy to answer all your questions and will likely appreciate that you are undertaking analysis to make the best resolution for you. Usually, these companies are established as independent studios.
